Xero v. Tsuko

Setting: Flat plains (few trees)

Tsuko stared at his opponent noticing how cold his skin looks. He practically sweated mist. It was somewhat... ominous. No problem. Tsuko had seen tougher before. this should be cake

Xero stared at his opponent carefully. The first thing Xero noticed was the katana sheathed behind his opponent and the spiky hair he had seen before somewhere in the leaf village. It looked familiar but he couldn't quite place it. If his opponent planned to try to slice him with that sword, Xero knew for sure he'd be ready. In other speculations, his opponent didn't seem all that threatening. In fact, his opponent looked pretty calm preceding the battle, which made it that much scarier. He had no facial emotion showing he was ready to attack, so Xero knew to try to concentrate more on his other body features to learn his opponent's attack pattern. He stared at his opponent readily, with a few acupuncture needles hidden in his hand waiting to counter the first attempt of an attack.

"Let's see what you got," Xero said to egg his opponent into the first attack.

Tsuko merely chuckled.

"Ive already started my first attack. Just because you dont see it, doesnt mean its not there."

Tsuko assumed he would enjoy this fight. He would take his time with this one. No need to rush. Staying as calm as possible was the key.

"SHARINGAN"

Hmm, looked like another sharingan. Xero had faced this once before and noticed it granted the user an improved amount of perception. He needed a way to test its limits and find a time to neutralize it. However, another issue was his opponent's words. Xero pondered this for a second and realized one of two things. Either he was caught in a genjutsu or his opponent before him was simply a clone. Xero did not see any indicators that would show his opponent attempting to place a genjutsu so Xero had to go with the clone aspect. In that case, he needed to make his opponent believe he was fooled while he prepared to attack the real body whenever it showed up.

"Is that so?" Xero responded, "Then maybe I should begin a counter!"

Xero quickly threw his hidden needles in a spread area covering about 45 degrees ahead of him. These particular needles were not covered in poison, however each were aimed at a level that would hit an opponent of Tsuko's size in their upper thigh. If Tsuko was anywhere in front of him, he would have to find a way to dodge, but shifting left or right would only place him in the vicinity of one of the neighboring needles.

Tsuko would not be so hasty as to reveal the jutsu he was using. Not yet anyways. He would simply let his opponent figure it out. For now, he would abuse it.

He would just auditory hallucinations for now. He began the hand signs and cast the jutsu. Time to watch this "Xero" squirm

The needles seemed to have no effect on his opponent, which wasn't much of a surprise to Xero. He did however recognize the hand signs that were being performed in front of him as those for the auditory hallucinations jutsu. Xero had to be careful what he focused on because he knew his opponent would try to mess with his mind before initiating another attack. Xero still had to figure out where his opponent was. The only thing he could do for now would be to hide until he could figure out a plan of what to do next. Xero began to make the hand signs to cast the Hidden Mist Technique, which would dim the vision of the field but still allow some sight in case Xero could catch something. He planned on using this cover to escape the sights of his opponent and to prepare a hidden attack which would reveal his opponent's location.

Tsuko stood silently as the mist arose from the ground. People still didnt seem to understand. He didnt need to see them to hurt them. His genjutsu was so advanced, eye contact doesnt even need to be made. The sharingan isnt even needed. He would simply attack his mind.

"Submission Jutsu:, Tsuko whispered as he faded into the mist

Xero began to feel a bit weird, like his body was giving out. It was a weird sensation but Xero could immediately feel something was wrong. It was his opponent attempting to attack his mind! He had been taught a method by Haku a long time ago about a way to force oneself out of a genjutsu like this. But Xero waited until a key moment before he would use this, so he could wait for his opponent to slip up and catch him off guard.

Tsuko ripped at the soul of this mist ninja. He pryed as deep as possible only to slice any further hope of victory. Was he truly a monster? He didnt care. Whatever it takes to win. He would do whatever it takes.

Xero felt himself being tortured by the genjutsu Ryan placed on him and was finding it difficult to get out. "He thinks he's got this won, but I won't lose this," Xero thought.
